Join us for a transformative, multi-state journey tracing the path of Harriet Tubman and the heroes of the Underground Railroad. From the shores of Maryland to the roar of Niagara Falls, experience history where it happened!
Your Journey Awaits
Prepare for an unforgettable 5-day adventure exploring the rich history of the Underground Railroad.
Travel Details: The journey will begin in Baltimore, MD and ends in Niagra Falls, CA. Participants are responsible for arranging their own transportation to Baltimore, MD and from Buffalo, NY, which is not included in the trip cost.
The Route: We will travel north by charter bus through Maryland, Pennsylvania, and New York, ultimately crossing into Canada!
*Historical Highlights: Step into the story of courage and resilience as you journey through places that shaped Harriet Tubman’s mission and the path to freedom:
Harriet Tubman Underground Railroad State Park & Visitor Center – Experience immersive exhibits and surrounding landscapes that reveal how Tubman navigated danger and led others to freedom
Mother Bethel AME Church – Visit one of the oldest African Methodist Episcopal churches, a cornerstone of faith, freedom, and abolitionist history
Harriet Tubman Home – Walk the grounds where Harriet Tubman lived, reflecting on her life, legacy, and enduring impact after leading so many to freedom
*Monuments & Safe Havens: Encounter sacred spaces of refuge, remembrance, and new beginnings:
Freedom Crossing Monument – Stand at the historic gateway where many took their final steps from bondage into freedom.
Salem Chapel British Methodist Episcopal Church – Visit the church where Harriet Tubman worshipped and where freedom seekers found safety, community, and restoration.
Natural Wonders: Enjoy free time and sightseeing at the breathtaking Niagara Falls.
